wālḥamdu‿li-llahi ʕalá kulli ḥālin waʔaʕūdhu billahi min ʕaðābi‿n-nnār. Amīn.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to God, Lord of all worlds.
Oh God, bestow Your Mercy and Blessings upon Muhammad whenever he is remembered and not remembered.
O God, benefit me by that which You have taught me, and teach me that which will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.

I was greatly annoyed by the inconvenience of: (a) needing to have a physical book or (b) needing to open several tabs to trace the amendments. I wanted one place that contained both the amendments and relevant case law so I began this project in MS Word. However, the text of the Rules on Civil Procedure alone spanned 169 pages and adding case law would have easily tripled that. Keeping it in MS Word would have been impractical and would have made sharing it among friends and colleagues difficult. Hence, the decision to build this website.

This work is intended to be a concise reference to statutes and rules, as amended. Brief summaries of select case law, especially recent ones, may be included. Citations may be linked to the official text in the Supreme Court e-Library.

I will update this regularly إنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ.

I pray that both the reader and I will find benefit in this humble work.
